The National Chiropody Institute (NCI) is the only institute that specialises exclusively in theoretical and practical Chiropody training, and in preparing students for the State Diploma: a high-quality long-lasting pledge since 1928.

NCI has only one concern: teaching modern Chiropody.

A word from the Director

Dear Candidate,
The National Chiropody Institute (NCI) was founded in 1928, rue du Marché Saint-Honoré.
Eighty years later, the school is moving into new premises at rue Sainte-Anne in the centre of Paris. For eight decades, directors and lecturers have been continuously making advances in the field of Chiropody making this school a reference for the profession: the NCI is the only school that specialises solely in teaching Chiropody.

Pierre MANET created the NCI in 1928.
He was a visionary who dedicated his life to developing the profession through his institute which was already influential during his time. He was a pioneer.

Today, with the support of his colleagues at the Institute’s clinical research unit, Alain LAVIGNE has created a new treatment concept for the future using biomechanical plantar orthosis for functional diseases of the locomotor system.

Pour paraphraser la phrase de Neil Amstrong ...c'est un grand pas pour la profession !
En effet, la mise en place de la réingénierie, dès la rentrée 2012, va permettre la reconnaissance universitaire de notre diplôme et donc de notre profession. Le grade de licence obtenu par nos futurs diplômés va leur donner la possibilité de prolonger leur cursus universitaire (Master, etc …).
