A CARE UNIT

  • Chiropodial consultation

  • Patient management by the student who is placed in a professional situation

  • Correction of the treatment by the professor

  • Follow-up of patient

Equipment: 40 care stations including 5 with internal turbine and spray

A CHIROPODIAL ORTHOPAEDICS CONSULTATION AND TREATMENT UNIT

  • Chiropody consultation

  • Patient management by the student who conducts a clinical examination with high-performing exploratory and examination equipment.

  • Proposal and Development of a treatment by plantar orthosis followed by the fabrication of a therapeutic tool, all supervised by the lecturer.

  • Monitoring of the disease

Equipment: 12 stations, 1 walking track, 7 thermoforming stations and 1 dynamometric platform.

A LECTURE DEPARTMENT

  • Courses are taught in entire year-groups or in half groups

  • They take place in the morning or late in the afternoon

Resources: 1 lecture hall with 120 seats and 1 classroom with 60 seats

A PRACTICAL UNIT IN THE FORM OF ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS

  • These educational discussions are aimed at developing the ability to analyse and synthesize clinical knowledge, learning to make quick decisions, and developing an effective therapeutic strategy.

A PRACTICAL WORK UNIT

  • This time is dedicated to learning the technology and techniques of fabricating plantar orthoses

The resources: 3 rooms, 12 fixed pulleys and 10 mobile pulleys

HOSPITAL TRAINING COURSES

  • They enable integration into hospital structures and bring students face to face with the different facets of professional practice.

Resources: 18 training grounds or 31 weekly work sessions.
