| Presentation of the NCI |
|
NCI has only one concern: teaching modern Chiropody. A main line of work and two objectives to be validated:
Scientific knowledge and practical know-how in the field, confronted with the patient, are the added value offered by the NCI; an added value that ensures successful professional integration.
The NCI does more than that. Although obtaining the State Diploma is a priority, it is not the final goal but rather marks the beginning of a career. This is why the Institute makes it a part of its duty to simultaneously prepare its students to acquire a real job. Becoming a health professional means having the capacity to put knowledge into practice.
For this ambition to manifest itself in the field, there are three responses:
OOur teachers are all specialist practitioners in hospital services, on sports medical teams, and in private practice. They provide students with the wealth of their long years of experience. Every day at the Institute students are given the responsibility of patients in treatment settings. Placed in professional situations as consultants, they become key players in their training. Supervision, meticulousness and acknowledged authority are combined to form an individualized teacher/student relationship. Interactive educational discussions allow each student to fulfil their potential within a group dynamic. A special place is reserved for the psychological aspect of the relationship between patients and care-givers, which is essential for health professionals. In fact, only scientific training that is optimised by a high level of attentiveness and dialogue with the patient could guarantee a successful activity today. Therefore, over the medium term, the loyalty of your clientele will be the proof of your competence and the fair return on your investments. |
